A Fun Country Music Evening At The Boot Barn. Who would have thought a few years ago that a '70s rock CCR  kind of guy would spend money to go and hear "Waylon, Willie, And The Boys"? Although none of us grew up liking "Country Music," Jean, our good friends, and I did just that. We went to see "Silver Stallion', a tribute band from "The Highwaymen".

I think trying new things, going to different places, and making new friends is important, especially as we get older. I had never been to the "Boot Barn" or a country music concert. Not only did we have fun with our friends, but I learned something new. Did you know that Kris Kristofferson went home and wrote the song "Why Me Lord" after going to church with Larry Gatlin and accepting Jesus as his Savior? I will never listen to that song in the same way again.
