Jean and I spent last week at One Ocean Resort and Spa in Jacksonville, Florida, and it was terrific! Fireworks woke me up at 11:50 pm. I flipped open my iPad and watched the ball drop. Back to sleep at 12:15 am. I love celebrations and parties as much as anyone, but I still don't get standing in the cold rain with a bunch of people you don't know watching a ball slither down a pole..
