Spontaneity Made Our Honeymoon Trip Too Much Fun!

With our anniversary coming up in a few weeks, I don't know why we didn't plan this trip earlier. Maybe it's because we just heard about the place two days before.

Our adventure yesterday took us to "Honeymoon Island" near Tampa, Florida. We didn't leave early (I'm retired and have my routine every morning, even on vacation), so traffic was already backed up for miles when we turned onto Causeway Blvd. After sitting in traffic for twenty minutes, I noticed a beautiful walking trail between the road and the beach. Checking my GPS, I found the walkway extended the entire two miles to the entrance gate. Looking over at Jean, I saw a big smile come on her face, and she said, "Let's park and hike it."

We walked two miles along the beautiful beach, met some cool people, had fish and chips at the "Cafe Honeymoon," and a beautiful walk back. The MORAL OF THE STORY: always be ready to change your plans; God may have something so much better in mind!
