"Dad, Jesus just spoke to me and told me you will walk me down the aisle."

My fourteen-year-old daughter screamed those words as she came running out of her room. It was on the morning after I told her I had cancer with a life expectancy of eight to twelve months. I am sure you have guessed by now that the words she heard that morning came true.

Today, I wish my daughter, Jessica Potter Bealer, the happiest of birthdays. You have grown from a teenager of great faith into an amazing wife, mother of 6, author, and renowned speaker... still very much proclaiming your faith. Love you!
