Being Flexible and sometimes going out of Your Way! Friday, when I posted that Jean and I were in Hudson, Florida, I immediately got a message from Karen (a friend from Pennsylvania), saying she was now living about an hour from where we were. I messaged back, saying we would come up for a visit, telling her (jokingly), "If you buy me lunch." So we met up at a fun place called "Backwater Fins."

We laughed, cried, and caught up all over a great meal. AND...even though I protested, she did buy lunch :).

Have you noticed that the importance of friendship grows as we get older? One great way to grow friendships is over a meal. But it will require being flexible and sometimes going out of your way.
